Allium karataviense Ivory Queen is unusual because it is low growing and the foliage, lush and luxuriant is particularly attractive.

Allium karataviense Ivory Queen is a white form of the Allium karataviense

These Alliums are sold in packs of 5

  • I adore all Alliums, I love the effect their perfection and  simplicity brings to the garden and of course they extend the flowering period of bulbs right into the summer.
  • The Allium karataviense Ivory Queen blooms are creamy white in colour and are produced on stout, low stems of about 25cm high during late spring and early summer.
  • I have been growing this Allium for more years than I care to remember for I simply adore the sight of the new leaves as they emerge from beneath the ground in early spring. These leaves, combine beautifully with the short stems and perfect flowers to give one of the finest of all spring flowering plants.
  • These Allium karataviense Ivory Queen come from a supplier whose Alliums I have been planting in gardens for over 10 years and each year the quality is superb.
  • Stagger the planting over a few weeks in the autumn and winter if you want to and this will result in the blooms opening up over a longer period in the spring
  • All the packaging that I use is, where possible either reused, recycled or recyclable. All the bulbs are supplied to me loose in bulk crates so that there is no plastic wrapping or packaging to be dumped.
