Heuchera Marmalade is probably my favourite of all the Hecuhera cultivars. It's the foliage that first attracted me, the colour a marmalade, ochre tone has a really attractive pink underside.
It's evergreen, and so brings this to the garden during each of the 12 months of the year.
But it's not just the foliage I fell in love with as I got to know this plant a bit more for the flowers too, white/cream coloured coral bell flowers are produced abundantly on slender stems as high as 40-50cm and the great thing about them......they don't just look gorgeous, they are loved by the bees.
I have many plants of Heuchera Marmalade growing in my garden and they are truly buzzing with insect life for about 6-8 months of the year.
Ruffled, evergreen leaves are produced on this plant which will reach up to 25-30cm in height and about 30-40cm in width.
Leave 50cm or 18" between each plant if planting in the open ground and these can be planted together to create a stunning massed effect in your garden or individually dotted about the garden.
Heuchera Marmalade is suitable in an open sunny or a semi-shaded position in a well drained soil.
This Heuchera Marmalade has been grown outside by an Irish nursery and thus stands a better chance of establishing in your garden than an imported specimen which may have been grown under glass
This Heuchera is supplied in a 2 litre pot
