
Also referred to as 'Love In A Mist', these Nigella seeds are made up of the wonderful shades of the Persian Jewells Mixture
Nigella - Persian Jewells Mixture:
- Lovely soft blooms in a mixture of white, pink, rose-red, mauve and purple shades.
- Pretty, delicate foliage, and flowers that look great in beds borders and containers.
- Nigella also makes a fantastic cut flower.
- Blooms appear from July and are followed by ornamental seedpods.
Sowing Instructions

Sow seeds indoors anytime from October to April on the surface of a good seed compost, and lightly cover with a little compost and cover with propagator lid. -
Alternatively create humidity by placing seed tray in plastic bag and keep in a warm environment between 20 - 25°C. -
Germination can take up to 3 weeks, -
When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into larger, individual pots and grow on in cooler conditions. -
In May when all risk of frost has gone, transplant outdoors where the plants are to flower. -
Harden them off by placing outside during the day for 1 week. -
Plants will begin to bloom from June to September and even later depending on the weather. -
Dead-head regularly to encourage further blooms throughout the summer.
