Irish Bluebell Bulbs:
These are Irish grown bulbs from Co Waterford and the quality needs to be seen to be believed. I have using bulbs from this grower for the last number of years and they are quite simply, far better than what you are likely to find in any garden centre prepack.
There’s something so magical about a bluebell wood, the haze of blue, the scent that you don’t get from a single specimen but only comes with a mass planting, mixed with the fresh, verdant, spring-green growth which gives an aroma all of its own, which I can best describe as the smell of new life.
- A Bluebell planting captures all the senses, the inner child in me wanting to lie down and roll amongst them but of course, I couldn’t do that, what would people say?
- Plant Bluebells only about 5-10cm under the ground and as close as 5-10cm apart if you want.
- Flowers will reach about 25cm in height
