- Growing Instructions
Beautiful white flowering Narcissus Paperwhite.
Supplied in packets of 3 bulbs
As well as the beautiful blooms of course, you will also get to enjoy rooms full of scent, better than any air conditioner!
These bulbs will flower during December and January if planted in pots or bowls, indoors.
To grow them for winter flowering indoors, plant them in pots of bulb fibre or good quality compost so that the tip of the bulb is just level with the top of the fibre/compost.
Dampen the compost and postion the pot or bowl in a cool, dark place with a temperature below 10 degrees. Keep the compost moist but not too wet.
After about 4-6 weeks move the pots or bowls into a bright and sunny position and enjoy bowls full of pretty, pure white blooms on stems about 20-30cm high.
As well as the beautiful blooms of course, you will also get to enjoy rooms full of scent, better than any air conditioner!Don't leave them in a dark place for longer than 6 weeks or the stems will be too long and weak to stay upright.
Narcissus Paperwhite can also be grown outdoors and treated in the same way sa any other Daffodil or Narcissus.
Plant during the autumn in a semi shaded, well drained soil for flowering the following spring
Bulbs are supplied in 3s and bulb size is 15cm
