A perfect gift for bird lovers and wildlife enthusiasts, the Robin Teapot Nester may also attract wrens and other species that prefer open-fronted nest site.

 The robin is justifiably one of our favourite birds. The way they follow us around the garden waiting for us to turn over worms, seeds and insects, makes it the gardener’s companion. They can become so brave that they will eat from your hand. I love their song too, robins sing all year round but particularly loudly when they are holding territories.

 

Robins like open-fronted nesting sites often use human-made items such as flower pots, boxes, and kettles. Hence Wildlife World designed this purpose-built teapot nester to provide a perfect home.

The Robin Teapot Nester

  • Made from frost resistant hi fired ceramic with green glaze
  • Drainage holes in the base of the nester
  • Easy to hang using garden wire through mounting hole/handle
  • Or using a screw and included rubber washer to achieve fixing

Attach the Robin Teapot Nester into hedges, ivy or trees using wire.

 

Remove nesting material carefully between breeding seasons.

On the other hand, leftover materials can attract bumblebees to nest within.

The decorative foliage may require regular replacement depending on the materials used and the effect you are trying to achieve. But we'll leave that up to you!
