For a while, this page was home to Ask Peter, an AI helper trained on my gardening advice. It answered a lot of questions, and I'm grateful to everyone who used it.

Over time, though, I noticed the answers weren't always accurate. Good gardening advice depends on the details: your soil, your site, your weather. When advice carries my name, it needs to be right. An AI couldn't guarantee that, so I decided to switch it off.
