- An Initial Consultation
Before we speak I ask you to send me photographs of your garden and your Eircode so I can view the space on Google Earth. I review everything personally before our first conversation.
- A Bespoke Planting Plan
A detailed, illustrated plan showing exactly what to plant and where. Every plant chosen specifically for your site, your soil and your conditions. Not a template.
Your plan includes a full illustrated layout with every plant shown in position,
a complete plant list with names, quantities and suggested planting sizes
and a photograph of every plant so you know exactly what you are getting before anything is finalised.
- A Follow-Up Consultation
Once the plan is complete we go through it together. You understand every decision and leave knowing exactly what to do and how to approach the work.
- Plant Sourcing and Delivery
I source the plants from trusted Irish trade growers. They are delivered to your door, clearly labelled so the name on the label corresponds directly with your planting plan. You know exactly what goes where.
- Materials, Where Needed
If the garden needs topsoil, bark mulch, gravel or edging to complete the planting properly, I can source these and obtain prices for you separately once the plan is complete.
Plants and materials are priced separately once the plan is complete and quantities are confirmed.

How It Works
1. Tell me about your garden
Fill in the short form here. Tell me what you're working with and what you want to achieve.
2. Send me your garden details
If the service is the right fit, I will ask you to send photos your Eircode, and accurate measurements of the area to be planted. These details are what the plan is built from, so the more accurate they are, the better the finished plan will be.
3. Online consultation
We meet online to talk through the garden. I ask questions, you describe what you want, and I give you my initial assessment of the space, the conditions and the best way forward.
4. I design your planting plan
I design your planting plan personally. This usually takes 3-4 weeks, depending on time of year and the size and complexity of the garden.
5. Follow-up consultation
Once the plan is complete, we go through it together. You leave knowing what to plant, where each plant goes and the order in which to approach the work.
6. Plant sourcing, pricing and delivery
If you would like me to source the plants, I will get prices from trusted Irish growers where possible.
You approve the plant order and pay for the plants separately. The plants are delivered to your door, clearly labelled, so planting is extremely straightforward.
7. Materials, where needed
If your garden needs topsoil, bark mulch, gravel, edging or other materials to complete the planting properly, these can also be priced separately once the plan is complete.
How pricing works
Smaller gardens or single planting areas start from €900. Most complete Planting by Numbers projects, including consultation, detailed planting plan and plant supply guidance, are circa €1,500 plus VAT.
Final pricing depends on the size of the garden, the level of detail needed and whether plant and material sourcing is required.
