Introducing

What You Get

Everything included in one service, personally delivered by Peter Dowdall.

  • An Initial Consultation
We start with an online consultation. Before that, you send me photos of your garden from all angles, a video walkthrough if possible, your Eircode so I can view the space on Google Earth, and accurate measurements of the area. I review everything personally before we speak.

  • A Bespoke Planting Plan
A detailed, illustrated plan showing exactly what to plant and where. Every plant chosen for your specific soil, aspect, microclimate and maintenance capacity. Not a template. Designed specifically for your garden.

Your plan includes:

  1. Full illustrated layout with every plant shown in position
  2. Complete plant list with names, quantities, suggested planting sizes and eventual height and spread
  3. A photograph of every plant so you know exactly what you're getting
  4. Plant sourcing options from Irish growers
  • A Follow-Up Consultation
Once the plan is complete, we go through it together. You understand every decision. You know exactly what to do and in what order.
  • Optional: Plants Sourced and Delivered
If you want me to source the plants, I get prices directly from Irish trade growers. You will typically pay 20–30% less than retail prices and you won't have to visit multiple garden centres trying to track down plants you may not even find. Every plant arrives labelled. The name on the label corresponds exactly with the name on your planting plan. Planting by numbers literally.

Plants are typically delivered within two weeks of ordering.

How It Works

1. Tell me about your garden
Fill in the short form here. Tell me what you're working with and what you want to achieve.

2. Send me your garden details
Photos from all angles, a video walkthrough if possible, your Eircode, and accurate measurements of the area to be planted. The measurements are what the plan is built from, the more accurate the better.

3. Online consultation
We speak online. I ask questions, you describe what you want. I give you my initial assessment.

4. I design your plan
I design your planting plan personally. This takes up to three weeks.

5. Follow-up consultation
We go through the plan together. You leave knowing exactly what to plant and where.

6. Optional plant order
If you want me to source the plants, I send you a price from Irish growers. You approve and pay. Plants arrive at your door, labelled, within approximately two weeks.

Why This Works

Most people who want a better garden get stuck at the same point.

  • They know it needs doing. They don't know where to start.
  • They're worried about spending money on the wrong plants. They can't find everything they need in one place.
  • They start, stop, and the garden stays the same for another year.

This service removes every one of those obstacles.

You get a plan that tells you exactly what to do. You get the plants delivered to your door at below retail prices, labelled to match the plan. You get two conversations with someone who has been designing Irish gardens for 30 years.

The only thing left to do is plant.
