All my life I have been interested in and worked in gardens, gardening, landscaping and garden design in Ireland and the UK. 

I work as a garden designer and consultant: Maintaining and enhancing biodiversity is one of the challenges facing everyone at the moment and I feel responsible to create gardens which will do just that.
 
For the last 25 years I have been presenting on television and on radio in Ireland and I am also the Garden Design and Gardening columnist for the Irish Examiner newspaper along with being a sometimes features writer for The Irish Garden magazine.
 

Peter Dowdall is a renowned horticulturist, garden designer, and author with a passion for creating beautiful and wildlife-friendly gardens. With over 25 years of experience in the field, Peter has become a leading expert in garden design, helping many to transform their outdoor spaces into havens of beauty and biodiversity.

Born and raised in a beautiful home in Cork, Ireland, surrounded by lush greenery, Peter developed a deep appreciation for nature from a young age. This love for the environment led him to pursue a career in horticulture and garden design.

Over the years, Peter has studied and worked in Ireland and the UK with some of the most renowned gardeners and landscape designers, honing his skills and gaining valuable knowledge about creating sustainable and wildlife-friendly gardens.
