Small Urban Front Garden Planting Design, Cork
A compact front garden reworked with structured planting to create year-round interest, softness and a contemproary yet soft feel.
About This Garden
This was a small urban front garden that needed more structure and presence.
The aim was to create something that felt generous and welcoming, without overcomplicating the space or making it difficult to maintain.
Planting was used to soften the layout, introduce structure and cohesion and bring colour through the seasons, while also ensuring the garden performs well in typical Cork conditions.
A combination of evergreen structure, perennials and grasses allows the garden to hold its shape through winter and come alive again as the seasons change.
The result is a front garden that feels settled, balanced and far more in keeping with the house.
